My five favorite hostess gifts

You’ll never question what to give again.

It's that time of year when gratitude runs deep, and I love showing my appreciation, especially for those hosting fun parties and family gatherings. These are some of my go-to hostess gifts that I think you'll love giving. They're beautiful products I use and keep in my home year-round. Here are my top five favorite things to give (and receive).

Roma Heirloom Tomato candle by Flamingo Estate

Funny name for a candle, but the bright scent - even when not lit - will have you reminiscing over freshly picked herbs, or rather, tomatoes, straight from the vine. It's one of Flamingo Estate's most popular candles, and a new favorite for me.

Jennifer Fisher’s Universal Salt

You can't go wrong with any of Fisher's salts, but this one, is well, universal. AKA: It’s great on everything! I love it + use it for every day seasoning. Bonus: Fisher's salts come in beautiful black packaging, just like her jewelry, so all you really need is a colorful ribbon to tie the box up into perfection.

Aēsop Reverence hand soap

Once you use this hand soap, you won't want to use anything else, trust me. Even my husband will tell you it's a household necessity. It has finely milled pumice to exfoliate your hands, and it smells like fresh-cut green grass with a hint of smokiness. Every guest comments on this soap when they use it, and at $43, it's still worth it.

Black Truffle Oil

Olive oil infused with delicious black winter truffles and truffle oil concentrate. You can use this on fries, pasta, potatoes - whatever you want. I drizzle it on my roasted veggies and even my kids will eat it.

If the truffle oil seems like too much, I really love Kosterina’s Organic Greek Olive Oil.

I use Kosterina olive oils every day and their balsamic is amazing too. Made from 100% olives and grown in Southern Greece. No fillers. Cold-pressed in small batches using only Koroneiki olives, which are high in polyphenols.

You can't go wrong with a …

Snake Plant: Affordable, low maintenance and provides health benefits - giving this common house plant in lieu of flowers is always the way to go. You can find these at your local florist, nursery or hardware store.

Cheers to having Champagne Taste

If you ask me, every day you're alive is a great reason to celebrate. My favorite champagne is Moët & Chandon, but Veuve Clicquot brut rosé is what I give my best girlfriends on their birthdays. In 1818, Madame Clicquot created the first known blended rosé champagne, so I think it's fitting … but adding bubbles to any occasion is a yes in my book.

Okay, so this was more than five things. Oops! Let me know what you decide to take to your next gathering. Happy Shopping!
